its sporty and elegant allure
The front of the new Peugeot 208 GTi is as appealing as it is impressive: the new front bumper looks sharper, more precise and more muscular. The extended grille and thicker surround are now completely integrated into the front bumper.
On the new Peugeot 208 GTi, no detail has been neglected; the widened track, red brake callipers, GTi-stamped rear quarter panel, spoiler and chrome trapezoidal double exhaust pipe will satisfy the sports-minded.

the 208 GTi experience
The new Peugeot 208 GTi's sporty temperament can also be translated into figures: 0 to 100 kph in 6.5 seconds and 1000 m covered in 26.5 seconds.
Pick-up is also excellent, taking you from 80 to 120 kph in the fifth of the six gears in six seconds.
Light at 1,160 kg, the new Peugeot 208 GTi has an excellent power-to-weight ratio of 5.58 kg per hp and demonstrates real prowess by emitting only 125 g CO2 per km in a mixed cycle and consuming only 5.4 l/100 km in mixed-cycle driving, 6.9 l/100 km in an urban driving and 4.6 l/100 km in an extra-urban driving (in accordance with directive 99/100/EC).

As you take your seat in the 208 GTi, it’s the contemporary styling you notice first – sporty but with no compromise on quality. The striking dark colour schemes are brought to life by dynamic red highlights across the doors and dashboard, and each component, from the seat belts to the steering wheel insert, adds to the unique GTi theming.

The 208 GTi purrs into action as soon as you turn the key. Because the car weighs just 1,160 kg, its 1.6 litre 200bhp petrol engine and six-speed close ratio manual gearbox can take you to 62 mph from a standing start in less than seven seconds. It’s just as quick going from 50 mph to 75 mph in fifth gear. Plus CO2 emissions are a respectable 139g/km.
